The Research Center for Open Digital Innovation (RCODI) and the Purdue Hackers invite you to an evening event to hear about the new exciting initiative of hack series, the “Purdue IronHacks” which will take place over the fall semester of 2015. Learn about the opportunities to join one of new innovation hacking models to turn open governmental data into innovative website mash-ups that are useful for Purdue students and US citizens at a broader scale. Engage in the open data movement! Are you a coder (also novice coders are welcome) who wants to turn open data into useful applications, gain recognition among your panel of renowned judges, and be rewarded with exciting prizes? Are you excited about the open data movement and to join IronHacks as a sounding board member? Are you a graduate student generally excited about digital innovation who wants to be part of the movement? We invite coders, open data enthusiasts, and graduate students with a research interest in open data, crowds, and innovation to join us and learn more about IronHacks! We will offer free pizza and drinks! When: Wednesday September 16, @6:00pm Where: Discovery Learning Resource Center (DLRC), 207 South Martin Jischke Drive, West Lafayette, Room 143A/B
