Lionel Dsilva is a incoming PhD student for the Fall 2023 semester. A airport operations specialist turned data scientist, he has experience in designing and implementing machine learning models and data pipelines, and cloud architecture from end to end. Being former Airport Ops, Lionel is also familiar with FAA regulations relating to Parts 107, 91 and 121. His key areas of interest are in Cloud and Distributed Systems, Computer Vision, and everything Data Science.

He is also a gearhead, and frequents the track in his spare time!
